Sheryl Schwartz LPC

I believe that asking for help is a courageous step, and I view my clients as the experts of their own lives.

My goal is to provide a safe, supportive environment to guide their recovery process.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor working with teens, families, and individuals for over twenty years working in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I specialize in anxiety, complex trauma, mood disorders, sleep concerns, and OCD. I earned my Bachelor’s in Psychology from Colorado State University in 1993 and my Master of Counseling from Adams State University in 2005. I spent a decade working in residential treatment, where I helped develop programs for Native American adults and youth, as well as youth impacted by sexual trafficking. I later worked with adults in intensive psychiatric care, supporting individuals with significant mental health and substance-use needs as they transitioned back into the community. I use a strength and skill-based approach, incorporating DBT, CBT, EMDR, and ERP.
